Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. designs, manufactures, and sells magnetic components, power supplies, information and communication components/products, photonics equipment and components, and LCM and TV products in Taiwan, Asia, Europe, North America, and internationally. The company offers power supplies, such as DC/DC, AC/DC medicals, AC/DC open frames, redundant, adapters, PV inverter, and AC/DC chassis products; and LUPS for use in communication, Internet, industrial control, and IT home electronics. It provides magnetic components, including telecom products and power transformers/inductor products, as well as communication, Internet, and power systems. In addition, the company offers photonics equipment and components, which include optical modules OEM die/wire bonding, optical passive components, active optical cables, and optical fiber transceivers; and industrial embedded systems, radar products, and marine products, as well as IOT application and other contract manufacturing, and EMS/OEM products. Further, the company provides LCM and TV products, such as LED and CCFL backlights, LCD modules, LED displays, and LED TV (OEM/ODM) products, as well as solar power street, high bay, and street light products. Universal Microelectronics Co., Ltd. was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Taichung, Taiwan.
