Thomson Medical Group Limited, an investment holding company, provides healthcare services for women and children in Singapore and Malaysia. The company operates in Hospital Services and Specialised Services segments. It owns and operates the Thomson Medical Centre, as well as a network of 39 clinics and centers that provide integrated medical healthcare facilities and services, such as obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatric, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, 24-hour outpatient, laboratory, health screening, breast and gynaecological oncology, dentistry, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, and medical aesthetics services, as well as counselling and specialised learning services for children with learning difficulties; and services provided by the fertility clinics, paediatric centres, cancer centres, cardiology centres, Chinese medicines, and specialist skin centres. The company also provides consumer products and services. In addition, it operates a pre-natal and clinical diagnostic laboratory; the Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara, a 205-bed hospital located in Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur; Thomson Iskandar Medical Hub; 6 fertility centers; and the Vantage Bay Healthcare City located in Iskandar Malaysia. Further, the company provides fertility consultancy, laboratory and embryology, research and development, and property development services. Additionally, it is involved in the information technology and computer service activities; and provision of project related services, including managing vaccination centres, COVID-19 treatment facilities, and transitional care facilities. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Singapore.
