The company operates four television networks in Mexico, such as Azteca uno, Azteca 7, adn40, and plus+; and TV Azteca Digital, an information and entertainment channel on the Internet. It also produces various content, including series, newscasts, and sports broadcasts, as well as reality, music, game, talk, and various shows. In addition, the company owns a soccer team. The company was formerly known as Controladora Mexicana de Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V. and changed its name to TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. in July 1996. TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. was founded in 1993 and is based in Mexico City, Mexico.
