The company was formerly known as Editorial Pregón and changed its name to Empresas Cablevisión, S.A.B. de C.V. in October 1994. Empresas Cablevisión, S.A.B. de C.V. was founded in 1960 and is based in Mexico City, Mexico. Empresas Cablevisión, S.A.B. de C.V. is a subsidiary of Corporativo Vasco De Quiroga, S.A. De C.V.
