In addition, the company is involved in coal mining business, as well as engages in developing real estate activities. It operates power plants with total capacity of 7,023 Mw equity and projects under construction and total equity contracted capacity of 1,418 Mw. The company provides operation, maintenance, engineering, and construction services to power plants, petrochemical plants, oil refineries, and other industries. Electricity Generating Public Company Limited was incorporated in 1992 and is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
