It offers alloy steel bars, medium and thick plates, seamless steel pipes, metallurgical forging, alloy steel wires, and alloy round steel billets, as well as quenched and tempered, and silver bright materials; and auto springs and parts, and other deep-processing products. The company also provides ferrous and non-ferrous metal, and auxiliary materials; spring flat steel; high-alloy steel pipes and fittings; metallurgical lime and desulfurizer; steel and iron smelting, steel rolling, coking, and steel balls; and smelting and rolling of steel, metal rolling, and wire processing services, as well as designs, manufactures, processes, and installs steel structural parts and metallurgical equipment. Additionally, it provides inspection and testing services; certification services; information and technical consulting and support, staff training, and other services. It exports its products to the United States, Japan, the European Union, and Southeast Asia. The company was formerly known as Daye Special Steel Co., Ltd. and changed its name to CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. in September 2019. CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1993 and is based in Jiangyin, China. Citic Pacific Special Steel Group Co., Ltd operates as a subsidiary of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Investment Limited.
