The company was formerly known as Shanghai Diesel Engine Co.,Ltd. and changed its name to Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology Company Limited in November 2021. Shanghai New Power Automotive Technology Company Limited was founded in 1947 and is based in Shanghai, China.
