About Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings Co Ltd

HD Hyundai Co., Ltd. engages in oil refining business in Korea and internationally. The company operates through six segments Shipbuilding and offshore, Oil refining, Electrical electronics, Construction equipment, Ship maintenance service, and Other segments. The Shipbuilding and offshore segment builds merchant ships, vessels, and industrial plants; manufactures, sells, and installs offshore oil and gas fields, and renewable energy-related products; and produces ship engines and power generation facilities. The Oil refining segment is involved in the crude oil refining business. The Electrical electronics segment manufactures and sells transformers, circuit breakers, switchboards, rotating machines, electronic control system, and wind power generator. The Construction equipment segment produces and supplies electronics, and construction and industrial transportation machinery. The Ship maintenance service segment provides technical service and fuel oil for ships; and engineering services. The Others segment is involved with manufacture and sale of industrial and LCD robots; and investment. The company also manufactures and sells internal combustion engines, petroleum products, hydraulic cylinder, and engine after treatment device. In addition, it provides facilities management and ship rental service; customer support; engine warranty repairs; heavy equipment repair; robot after-sales service; and healthcare solutions. Further, the company is involved in football team management; financing and management consulting business; solar module and software sales; trading of petrochemical products; chartering; research and development of technology and drugs; and software development for maritime autonomous surface ships. The company was formerly known as Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings Co., Ltd. and changed its name to HD Hyundai Co., Ltd. in March 2022. HD Hyundai Co., Ltd. was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Seongnam, South Korea.
