Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. engages in reactivating, mining, and producing precious metals in central Mexico. Its precious metals portfolio includes silver, gold, zinc, and lead. It holds interest in El Pinguico Mine project located in 8km from El Cubo which covers an area of 71.7 hectares. It produces silver and gold concentrates from the El Cubo Mine, Valenciana Mines Complex, and the San Ignacio mine located in the state of Guanajuato; and silver, gold, lead, and zinc concentrates from the Topia mine located in northwestern Durango. The company was formerly known as Vangold Mining Corp. and changed its name to Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. in June 2021. Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. was incorporated in 1978 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
