Juniata Valley Financial Corp. operates as the bank holding company for The Juniata Valley Bank that provides retail and commercial banking services primarily to small and mid-sized businesses in central and northern Pennsylvania, the United States. The company accepts personal checking, club, money market deposit, savings, individual retirement, business checking, payroll direct deposit, and demand and time deposit accounts, as well as certificates of deposit. It also offers checking overdraft privileges, secured lines of credit, construction and mortgage loans, secured and unsecured commercial and consumer loans, commercial lines of credit, letters of credit, mobile deposits for small business customers, and commercial term and demand loans. In addition, the company provides online, mobile, and telephone banking services; automated teller machine, online account management, remote deposit capability, and ACH origination services; debit cards; and safe deposit boxes. Further, it offers trust, asset management, and estate services; and various financial services that include annuities, mutual funds, and stock and bond brokerage services, as well as long-term care insurance products. Juniata Valley Financial Corp. was founded in 1867 and is headquartered in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania.
