Universal Biosensors, Inc., through its subsidiaries, designs and develops electrochemical cells (strips) used in conjunction with point-of-use devices in Australia, the Americas, Europe, and internationally. It also provides non-diagnostic laboratory services and coagulation testing services. The company has a license agreement with LifeScan Global Corporation to develop a test strip and a meter to be used for the detection and monitoring of diabetes in non-humans. Universal Biosensors, Inc. was incorporated in 2001 and is based in Rowville, Australia.
